After so many lime green wannabe hemi cuda what evers look at how wierd and strange and plain a lower model can look. Its almost refreshing how boring it is.

1. Not a 'cuda, it's a Challenger
2. I think it's a 74 Challenger, the hemi was no longer available.

never said it was a cuda. I knew it was a challenger and its a 1973 if I remember. Did you just miss the whole point of what I wrote or just want to prove what you know?

I'm with you, I think a base Camaro on steel wheels looks amazing. Do they make new Challengers like this? If they do I haven't seen one.

I really dont understand your point. Maybe you missed mine. but everyone with an e body wants a car like you posted and forsakes originality and whatever and its actually hard to find a stock lower model. Its just nice to see one different.

That is refreshing. I was just reading about a '70 'Cuda that is all original and had no options. No console, column shift auto, slant six, no radio, and hubcaps. It actually really interesting. Only had around 45,000 miles and was all original.

That was a joke on my part, but that kind of stuff was a big deal to car buyers in the 70's. The pictured car would not be considered base by the denizens of that era.

I have no point. You just described a friends car, so I thought I'd throw it in to show off.
I think it's neat with Challengers, Cougars, Novas, etc. Less common cars.
But with Mustangs and Camaros, I've seen so many stock lower models, so many lower models 'tributes' and 'clones', and plenty of higher models. Eclectic things are the ones that pop out now.

it is base. the next package was the rally. so its got a vinyl top and white walls on a base model. but I do understand your point I can understand like maybe the kid there assuming thats his car braggin about the $50 extra over base he paid for the white walls and brown vinyl roof.

OH ok. I dont mean to diss hemis I mean what idiot wouldnt want one! but I think you already understood my point. I envy your freinds car! That is so far out of my range. I would settle for some base model with a 383 or 440 swap.

Ah, so I'm the troll. Sorry Frank, nice post.
About 1974 one of the big kids up the street had a 70 Challenger. It was a base model, but it had lime green paint and lime green steel wheels, and a 440.
